  • Kevin Smith attacks Joel Siegel for leaving during Clerks 2
I think you need to have been the target - experienced it - been the one receiving criticism from a journalist; some wannabe musician, moviemaker or author who ended up writing about other peoples work they wished they could have done instead of creating their own (see also: lack of confident, lack of balls), and doing this - what we call “review” - with no respect and understanding. (I don’t have anything against people writing about their opinions on/in a blog. Personal optinions belongs on/in a personal blog. But if you are hired by a magazine. If you are stating that you are a professional in judging other peoples work (in wish you better have a very good education and experience in…)… do it with respect (or change job)). iconfactory.com are updating there web page. Unlike most - they didn’t just add a form to collect peoples email address and saying, “we can inform you when it launches”. No - they did it/are doing it in style with 6 small animated movies to tell a story. Hope the site will be as good as the build up.
