Adobe have announce the icons for the CS3 generation of Adobe applications
Personally i really like them.
All the negative posts and comments about them reminds me of how people wrote and complain on forums about how disappointed they were when the iPod was first released.
If you are using Wordpress, I suggest you download the WP Tiger Administration by Steve Smith. It’s a plugin that makes the boring and butt ugly admin system of Wordpress look nice. Just like the free clipart used in this post.
Normally I’m not a big fan of videogame music (bitpop) or christmas music. Therefor I’m a bit surprised that someone have managed to put the two genres together and made it sound absolutely brilliant.

A few guys in the office have received the Wii they pre-ordered from Amazon (and since it’s lunch time now, it’s being set up as we speak).
I don’t know that much about the Wii – i’m not a computer game kind of guy, but I do admire Nintendo for taking their own path in the game consoles war with Sony and Microsoft. Both the Wii and the DS (Nintendos handheld game console) are innovative in more and other ways than frame rate, processor power and hard drive space.
As always when a new products are released – there are the problems being reported.
But the problems shown and expressed on the wiihaveaproblem.com site, to me, should be seen as positive feedback to Nintendo. That they have created a console that will engage users to level beyond smashed keyboards and hand controls.

Since the beginning of this week we [POKE] no longer live at the third floor of Biscuit Building – we have moved from a shared space on the 3rd floor to 10000 sq. ft. of dedicated private space on the 4th.
And… it’s wünderbart!
You can find some photos of the new space at Tom Hostler’s flickr photoset named Poke 3.0. My old desk-mate Dom Goodrum have also uploaded some photos onto his flickr account (yeah, that’s me in action and my beard looks fake!)

Yesterday, the 6th of December, on the very same week we moved upstairs, POKE turns 5 years old!!
‘A New Computer’ is the biggest piece in my pie chart titled ‘Motivation To Why I Need Another Bag’, along side with ‘Be a Good Citizen and Consume’ and ‘I Do Need One’.

Now, quite a lot of times over the last few years I have heard people complaining over the lack of availability of nice computer bags. As always, what’s nice is always objective but… I don’t get it…
It has probably become significantly easier to find a nice bag today, than lets say, 3 years ago, but I’m now on my third laptop, and I have never ever had a hard time finding a nice bag that fits my computer. Even this time, when I’m after a slightly larger bag than average – to fit a 17″ computer – I find it so easy that i’m prepared to even do something finically stupid to prove my point over how easy it is… and so I have ordered two.

So, let me present, on the left: A Maxi – Black 17 by All The Kings Men (ordered from Rushfaster.com.au), and on the right: The Clyde by Acmemade (ordered from Laptopstuff.co.uk).

Besides those two beautiful bags, I have also ordered the iCover (also by Acmemade and ordered from Laptopstuff.co.uk) to protect the screen from nasty keyboard marks.
The runners up for this purchase were the Choroka K1 by Pakuma, Frinton by Knomo or one of the Laptop Cases by
